Another day, another food-related record breaking attempt. We had the longest pizza world, now how about two tonnes of French fries to go with that?
Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, Grand Forks (in North Dakota) failed attempt to of "world most large Fry French power".
Despite the rather appropriate name, the Grand Forks can't get enough people coexistence of French fries, as reported by TwinCities.com.fries (about 2 tonnes) 4,110 pounds were fried - 4,890 registering below, set a few years.
Some might say that the records are broken down, but are this obsession with records a food-related signs of our increasingly dysfunctional relationship with food? as eat competitive, producing large quantities of food (which a lot is likely going to waste) seems misguided at best and at worst waste seriously.
Once, the records we broken were those sports: mile fastest, highest jump, throw more longue.Nous will simply hope that today's children grow up to beat the record "plus great Burger eaten"...
